Units, courses, programs and events (Accredited Partner Programs)
Cancellations and transfers (subject to availability) for units, courses, programs and events for accredited partner programs are subject to the policies of Chancellor Institute as published on our website: https://chancellor.education/student-policies/
Chancellor Institute offers a ‘risk-free’ three week period for courses that run 10 weeks or longer. This means that you can ‘try before you buy’ to see if a subject is right for you. Students who decide to withdraw before the financial census date (within three weeks or less after the course start date), will receive a full refund. Some conditions apply.
Units, courses, programs and events (Open Learning, Executive Education, Study Abroad)
Cancellations and transfers (subject to availability) for units, courses, programs and events (Open Learning, Executive Education, Study Abroad) offered by Chancellor Institute Pty Ltd are accepted up to 30 calendar days prior to the program start date provided they are advised in writing via email to ask@chancellor.education. Charges for cancellations and transfers will be applied, as stated below, to cover our administration and sunk costs.
30 calendar days or more prior to the program start date: A cancellation charge of 25% of the total program fee applies; Transfers permitted (subject to availability); Registrants may nominate a substitution to take their place in a program. Substitutions may be made at any time.
29-21 calendar days prior to the program start date: A cancellation charge of 50% of the total program fee applies; Transfers permitted (subject to availability); Registrants may nominate a substitution to take their place in a program. Substitutions may be made at any time.
20 calendar days or less prior to the program start date: No refund for cancellations; No transfers permitted; Registrants may nominate a substitution to take their place in a program. Substitutions may be made at any time.
Study Tours and Bespoke and Corporate
Please refer to the terms outlined in the service agreement provided at the time of engagement.

Returns, refunds and exchanges
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
To make a claim, contact us at ask@chancellor.education with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where relevant. If a return is required we will provide return instructions and will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty goods. Once we receive the item we will assess it and confirm the outcome by email within a reasonable period.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection where the size ordered was supplied, or where goods have been damaged after delivery.
Provider default (Accredited Programs including Partner Programs, Open Learning, Executive Education, Study Abroad, Study Tours, Bespoke and Corporate)
Chancellor Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Chancellor Institute program at any time, in its absolute discretion. We will provide you with as much notice as possible of the cancellation or reschedule of any program.
In the unlikely event that Chancellor Institute is unable to deliver or complete the delivery of your program, and is unable to place you in a suitable alternative program, a full refund of the remainder of your Chancellor Institute fees (if any) will be made within four (4) weeks of program start date.
To the extent permitted by law, Chancellor Institute will not be liable for any costs, expenses or losses (including but not limited to travel, accommodation, and loss of income) incurred by you arising out of, or related to, the cancellation or reschedule of a Chancellor Institute program. Chancellor Institute’s liability is limited to refunding program fees.
Student default (Accredited Programs including Partner Programs, Open Learning, Executive Education, Study Abroad, Study Tours, Bespoke and Corporate)
Where a Student has not paid their invoice/s by the due date, the Institute reserves the right to withdraw an offer of enrolment and / or prevent the Student from attending classes or any other activity associated with the study program.
